It is way too expensive. A year later after release they are still charging the release price for the game. What is it a Nintendo Switch game???

This needs an update as the process seems to have changed.

They wanted a boring turn base where you are only use a few buttons on the controller then watch a cutscene

I remember watching this video and many more from you guys 7 years ago when I first began playing XIV on PS4. Played off and on for years, eventually moving over to PC, and have since left it probably for good at this point. RUclips is a hell of a reminder of how fast time goes by. Thanks for the videos.

The graphical improvements are relatively minor. They're mostly for the design of the dungeon environments while the rest have seen very little improvement. Lighting, especially shadows, haven't really improved much. It's not even close to a PSO2 vs NGS style update. Considering they've sunk over half a billion into the engine at this point, it's not very good.

A lot of things actually *don't* look better if you're familiar with how the old graphics and lighting looks. Housing lighting is still broken even after the recent update. They fixed the setting for 0 lighting but items that cast light are throwing less light than before and the light that *is* cast can flash on and off. If you look at the official forums, you'll see a lot of comparisons of the facial changes that look very strange and the skin looking plasticy. Shadows on the face are harsh, giving characters in certain locations and old cutscenes a gaunt look. The biggest issue is the emote animations looking uncanny, particularly any of the smiling ones. Luckily, an official statement has been made today by a community manager on the official forum about how they will be making a statement around the end of August addressing the issues. Elioaux calling the graphics update "unambiguous" makes it sound like they're not even playing the game?

Some things have definitely gotten way better looking. And certain textures with DT skins look really nice now. But other changes are difficult to notice unless you start looking for the changes or you have side by side comparison picture. Reason for this is that the game is still fundamentally and aesthetically the same. Which I like. But Would I rather for example take a renewed approach to the open world content and exploration if it was offered. Yes and always. The graphical update is an improvement, mostly. Some things still need fixing, like eyeglasses that now cast flickering shadows to my characters face, which did not happen before. So overall plus, though better graphics do not make the game that much more appealing to those who do not play it. Gameplay and game system changes affect such things more.

Graphics are irrelevant when gameplay is mid.

Give me BeastMaster and Whip with Duel Whips as a Uñderworld shout out as a LB or a High level Action to the job.

Would love Octopath style for FF6. Would recapture the game instead of pixel master. The rest would be interesting to see. Enjoyed both the ps1 edition nicely and enjoyed Octopath greatly.

There is honestly no excuse that anyone could use to justify a private server other than. "I'm poor". The way the game mechanics are, it's very easy to limit yourself to whatever level cap era you want. There are linkshells and communities on retail that are dedicated to "sandbagging". You see them all the time on Asura running around at lvl 75 with lvl 75 gear on doing the lvl 75 content only. At any point, SE could issue legal action against any private server. Especially the ones that take their product and change it in ways that don't represent the way SE wants it to be taken. Horizon is one of the bigger offenders of this. They have changed a lot of artwork and a ton of in game mechanics that make the game play very differently from actual era gameplay and possibly how SE wants their product to be represented. I'm not saying SE will take action, but keep in mind they have already issued DMCA's to any advertising that Horizon did. Horizon just has to act out of line with something or push something a little too far, just once, and it's gone.

Yes I do think it would bring a lot of people back. I will be. One of the reasons why I stopped was the look of the game. It almost lacked color and looked very matte and bland. I'm excited.

How do I keep from locking on to the axe man that calls the reinforcements

I’m here as I’ve just started running again having got down from 23st to 18.2st I’m currently wearing Nike compression top when going for a run but feel I’d like a more rigid one as there’s still a bit of ‘jiggle’ when I run which I totally feel could be sorted with a more sturdy compression top. Running with and without my current one is night and day and believe with a wee bit more hold I could run even better?? So if anyone in similar situation as myself can recommend a top or brand that holds the belly and moobs a bit better I’d be thankful. ✌🏻

As a Rpr main, YTYP is perfectly reasonable.. I play War as tank and theres nothing more infuriating than having to backtrack to a rangewd because they wanted to get 1/2 measly attacks out or when a fellow rpr/rdm hops way out in front and think they are okay to do as they please the tank will catch up.. No.. Most dungeons ect can be done without any dps, and a dps's job is just that, do dmg.. a tank is the one leading, keeping aggro and giving priority markers to enemies if they need to.. dont jump ahead if your dps and you wont die.. making the run go alot smoother.

So i can make my in game Yoshi P cosplay even more lore accurate now. Hell yeah
